I am a proud educator with over 14 years of experience in the field of education, including 7 years of instructional leadership. It fills me with excitement to embark on this new chapter of my life, dedicated to connecting students with their passions.  Throughout my career, I have witnessed the transformative power of education and the impact it can have on students' lives. I firmly believe that when students are connected with their passions, they become more engaged, motivated, and enthusiastic about learning. 

I began my career as a public High School Physics Teacher, where I had the privilege of teaching students with a wide range of capabilities and diverse backgrounds. Creating a comprehensive physics curriculum and designing engaging, hands-on learning experiences for my students was my passion during that time.  As my career progressed, I transitioned into the role of an Instructional Coach and School Administrator, providing support and guidance to middle school teachers. It was incredibly rewarding to collaborate with educators and help them enhance their instructional practices.

One of the most challenging and rewarding roles I have had the privilege to hold was the Magnet Program Director at  Kealing Middle School, in the heart of Austin, Tx. In this role, I focused on connecting students with their passions and ensuring equitable access to education for a diverse community. Removing barriers and fostering inclusivity became integral to my mission. I took a pause from education to explore endeavors in leadership development in the private industry, and now feel equipped to take the range of experience I've had over the years to make a positive impact in the lives of students and communities through my work.
